The TJA Childcare Program is open to all children, regardless of race, religion, nationality or creed, who may benefit from our type of program. We offer a program that includes educational enrichment, play sharing time, and learning activities for children ages 2 1/2 - 4 years. During summer months we also offer a program for children ages 2 1/2 through 13 years with special planned activities. We do not provide transportation for surrounding schools. However, we offer Before and After School Care for children during the school year from Tidewater Adventist Academy (TAA).
 
TJA is a nonprofit operation of the TAA, administered by a director. Policies are set by the school board upon recommendation of the Child Care Board elected by members of the school board. Although the specific doctrines of the church are not taught, our program does include daily instruction based on Christian values.
 
TJA operates under a permit issued by the Virginia Department of Social Services and has been inspected and approved by:

TJACC Rates

Registration fee of $50.00 per child is due at time of enrollment and required for all full and half day plans.
